Through our 13-step cleaning line we can ensure that even the last impurities are removed from your products. The intensity of the cleaning process is specifically matched to the base materials, the finishing method, the geometry of your substrates, and the degree of cleanliness you desire.
After this intensive treatment, nothing stands in the way of a successful coating of your clinically clean products.
Our core competency lies in PVD hard coating. In our complex vacuum systems, Titanium is vaporised through Ion plating. Through parallel feeding of reactive gases, "hard coatings" are formed.
Next to this unique technique, we use the tried and tested Sputtering procedure for Goldflash as end gold plating. Through the combination of these two processes, we are also capable of creating complex hybrid processes.
The newest generation of our coating system- Speedy 730- was completely developed and automated inhouse, which again improved the security of the process.
What requirements do our coatings need to fulfil? We have a matching solution for every colour and application. Our range covers everything from solid hard coatings, guaranteed to have a very long lifespan, to elegant gold plating in different hues.
It is still technically impossible to create hard coatings which measure up to the colour values for gold. The high gloss level of gold has fascinated humankind since antiquity and remains unattained.
To make your choice easier, we have denoted the corresponding
L, a, b - value for each plating. These are average values without tolerances. The technical attributes of the platings are detailed here.
We can also always realise colour graduations, so long as our esteemed customer’s orders are able to complete an entire batch.
After the coating process is successfully completed, your products are inspected according to specifications and then suitably packaged. Through daily testing processes, we ensure the process capability of Vacor coatings. The main focus of the process is on ensuring an impeccable coating adhesion.
Upon agreement with our customers, specific packaging solutions are also possible. Some of these are mounting of watch straps, final packaging, or stripping of PVD coats off steel parts.
Thanks to this deplating service, the entire process can be controlled and post-treatments such as polishing, or satin finishing can be avoided or at least greatly reduced.
